Jürgen Wagner
Developer / ArtistCrackpot Games
My name is Jürgen Wagner and I am a professional business developer. I worked in different fields over the last 20 years but all had something to do with banking or financial services. In 2017 I finally started to learn about game development and digital design and began to build my own simple games for android and PC. I know I am only at the beginning and I have a lot to learn but my next big step will be the publishing of my first game.
Right now I have two games in development. A simple but fun shooter for android called "Till The Last Bullet" and a 2D Hack & Slash Platformer called "Pocket Barbarian".
Since I am still working full time as a business developer and having a family it's really hard to keep on track but it brings me joy so I try my best to make at least a tiny bit each day.
You can follow and support me on twitter, patreon or facebook. But I have to warn you that social media is very time consuming so it's always a bit difficult for me to keep all platforms updated! So be patient with me.
You like retrogaming? You like pixel art? You like 2D platformers? Than "Pocket Barbarian" should be your cup of tea. In this 2D Hack & Slash Platformer you control a little barbarian through dark dungeons and grim forrests. I want to stay true to the old 8-bit retro graphic so "Pocket Barbarian" only uses a limited palette of 8 colors and doesn't use any transparency or fancy particle effects. It will be released for PC first, if it gets any traction maybe other platforms. "Pocket Barbarian" is still in early stage of development but makes a lot of fun, so stay tuned!
In this fast, simple but fun little game for android you will fight your way through oncoming hordes of zombies, monsters, empty cans, teddy bears and much more. The controlls are rather simple so it's easy to play on any phone. You simply touch in one quarter of your screen (top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right) to shoot in that direction. Tab as fast as you can on your player in the middle of the screen to reload.
As you fight your way through the game you gather more guns, different ammunition types and upgrade your player with more health or armor.
Can you shoot fast enough?
